I could do that. It'll be a mini RRC in Flagstaff.

I might be in for a hotel in Flag or I might stay in Camp Verde and could meet the group in Flag.

It's always a Mini-RRC at my house!

I remember Rick Ollah talking about the "trophies" - they had to be the best awards ever!

That was 2009 in Fruita. This was taken at the lunch in Gateway. Those awards were awesome! It took a lot of time and ingenuity to turn headlight assemblies into clocks. I have a somewhat biased opinion though...

I would rather buy a 914 to match the clock than to change the way it was created!

But that is just me...

The Fruita event was truly excellent!

Are the shirts for sale yet? You know it takes the tent makers longer to make the ones for us fat guys than it does for the shirt place to cover the little people.

Brant is coordinating shirt orders and, as usual, is completely involved in totally boring racing events. He'll get the shirt ordering show on the road within the next few days most likely.

The real question will be not if I make it to RRC 2013. Will I make it in a Corvair powered 914? Then what will it look like when I leave? Here is my starting point (See pic)

My route will take me to Phoenix first for 3 days of golf. Starting Labor day or the day after. Then on to RRC Friday. Sunday off to SLC to see my daughter. Monday drive back home to Oregon. Google maps makes the trip 2996 miles & a minimum of 44 hours of seat time . damn a flight out is sounding better all the time

Seriously though I hope to get my car ready for the trip. If Rick beats me out for farthest distance traveled in a 914. Maybe I can get the POS914 award

I could always drive Christine and make sure that doesn't happen.

I have friends in Thousand Oaks that I'm trying to talk into coming. He has a sweet '73 2.0 in Marathon Metallic blue.

I guess I should start putting my car back together....

I've adjusted my route. Not doing the Phoenix golf Vacation that week. So I'll just be heading through SLC to see my daughter & down from there. Maybe I can caravan down with Eric? We'll see when I end up there. Gotta get off my ass this weekend & finish my suspension
