I planned to come but got injured and been hurting bad whenever driving the kids to and from school this week. Tried the acupuncture yesterday and still hurting. Hope next week I can join.

Hi Guys,

Opps, I listed the date for the OC PCA at Tustin C&C as this weekend, February 12 and it is the THIRD weekend of each month which would be Febr. 19 (NEXT weekend).

Apologies for my error.

Given that information, I will be coming up to Seal Beach to join you teeners this coming Saturday (and likely back to Tustin next Saturday the 19th).

Just means I need to get up a bit earlier and drink more COFFEE!!!

Happy Valentines Day everybody!

It was great to see everyone at Glory Days Seal Beach. Hopefully I'll have my 914-6 back in a few months.......the blue Boxster S was my choice this weekend.

Several of us also attended the Grand Prix Region Breakfast event. I was so glad to get to meet up with friends, Skip and Susan Carter (President) snd Mike Dolphin. Will try to make some more of these in the future......Lots of very enthusiastic Porsche owners.

A new 914 appeared today; one that probably rarely seen.
Rex brought his ‘72 Willow Green 914 that he bought new in 1972 at Circle Motors. It still appears showroom fresh and a great example of original ( with on small exception)

Anyone know if this was a late 1972? My 72' has the more square looking bumper, his rear bumper looks like the later version, I'm wondering if the later months of production they went to the 1973-74 version?

Were body colored bumpers gone by '72 ?

Mine are body color under the black paint.

Ugh, museum??? absolutely not - unless you’re talking about while it’s not being driven… Needs to be driven and shown like it is, and document everything! Awesome that the owner brought it out!

It is late 72. It has the jack in the front versus the side. Keith has an early 72 with the jack on the side. I also have a late 72 with the jack in the front.

I agree.. my comment should of been showroom versus museum. It is nice to see an original 914 with nothing changed and everything original at Cars & Coffee. The owner meticulously cleans everything which also helps.

and now I see they may have also changed the sticker color between march and may.

Hi Rick, I believed the usual member that goes to C&C every saturday are now at the Route 66.

I will be there tomorrow, but there is also the Pelican cars & coffee, so it might be pretty light plus the Route 66 event.
