Okay people, I need a little help here. I am trying to finish this up so we can get the shipping started but I am missing some info from some of you. The info may just be matching a screen name to real name, or complete addrees or partial address and in a couple of instances a little bit of money. I just want to be thorough as to reduce the chance of shipping mistakes. Below is the latest updated list. If you see a d beside your name you are good to go, however if you see an @ beside your name I am missing info and if you see a $ beside your name I need more shipping money(out of country guys). In the instance you don't see anything but the pd beside your name, it means I don't know who you are with real name info. I may have everything but just not know who to match it up with. Wow, I was just going over all these pages and I just relalized that was a lot of work for you to organize this group buy for the lenses that will cost 130 dollars...than I was looking through some other threads and noticed Markey914 has the same product for sale for $99 in clear or Euro colors...maybe you should reconsider your group buy with Markey 914 and save everybody a bit of cash if its not too late....

If this post is out of line I apologize, not trying to start any trouble just thought about other 914 owners, that extra 31 dollars would come in handy for other stuff and we would probably have the parts even faster I believe. Just a thought, if I caused offense I am sorry.

I personally wasn't aware that Mark sold the lenses but hey, I am a newbie. As for getting them faster they have been ready to ship but it is hard to ship without proper information. I just like to make sure everything is in order. Feel free to purchase lenses wherever you choose. As for your post being out of line, yes, I think it was but hey, I am a newbie.

Thanks Roy for bumping this to the top so I didn't have to look for it. Time for an update. Some of it is good, some of it not so good, but I feel it is my job to keep everyone informed to the best of my ability whether the news is good or bad. At least you can count on the cold hard truth from me. Now where to start?

All of the lenses are done and George has all the money and shipping info. All U.S. and clear Italians will be out by next week. Now for a tad bit of bad news but you all need to be informed. The Euros are done also but unfortunately at the moment we are waiting on them to clear customs. I would love to say this will happen in a few days but, based on my past experiences dealing with customs I would venture to guess January, however I could be wrong. I will keep you all updated with any developements as soon as possible as you all have a right to know. I just want you all to know where it stands at the moment and feel no need to blow smoke up you ass. Sometimes the truth sucks but at least you know what to expect.

Now, with all that being said, I have been authorized to open the availability back for any who may still want to purchase any of the 3 versions. However, the total amount of availability is restricted to the original goal number, once that is met the group buy will be closed again.

Once I get further updates or information, I will pass it along to you promptly. My apologies for the delay on the euro version but Customs pretty much does what they want and I have no control over them.

I wonder why customs would choose to delay just this shipment for months with no reason given.

That I can't answer because I don't know. I only know George is making arrangements to get them through customs. Sorry, wish I could be more helpful.

Why are the Italian lenses clear? Is it because they drive crazy in Italy and it would not matter what color lens you have, they don't look at them...
