My two sons have been into watching animal movies lately so I checked out netfix's animal movies and found an oldie that I has seen as a boy... C.H.O.M.P.S.

Watching it last night, I was excited to see Valerie Bertineli driving a white 914 throughout the movie. Lots of great 914 footage!

If she drives a 914 throughout the movie, I'm gonna have to buy the DVD.

I quit getting excited over Valerie Bertinelli years ago. Those were the days!

I was watching a movie on FX yesterday.

Some flick about this idiot guy who need 30,000 bucks to pay for his marriage ceremony and his niece's college tuition. He ends up deciding to rip off his soon-to-be step father. There's a scene where he pulls out of a parking spot, and there is a zambezi green teener in the space behind him.

My Tivo caught a good ol 70 pic called "The Killer Elite" the other day. In it James Caan is a CIA operaitve that gets dbl X'ed
His ride is a 911 that is in a couple of sceans and meets one of his boys on a hilltop in SF whos driving what looks like a /6

My favourite is early on in "The Odessa File", while the credits are still appearing, there is a shot of a German street, at night, in the rain.

A 914 passes the camera, headlights-up.

While watching Michael Keyser's " The Speed Merchants " DVD , I saw a few shots of 914's in it .

The first shot was early in the beginning , showing early shots of Sebring 12 hr race , of a head on shot of an orange 914 . There was a white 914 quickie shot also in the Sebring venue . There was also I believe a 914 in the LeMans section of the DVD .

I did have a pic from a porno with a yellow 914 in it but I can't find it now.

There have been a few threads on this topic. I spotted a 914 recently in Lethal Weapon (1 or 2 can't remember for sure they were on consecutively).

I saw a 914 turning out of an alley on TMZ (tv show) the other day. Called my wife over to show her.

I could not find an online version of the clip though.

I'm too lazy to go through the registration process to post a new entry
but there are several scenes with a red 914 GT in the movie
Body of Influence 2. (late 90's cinemax style movie...)

I was looking at the 914s in there and ran across this one i think its misidentified as a 73. it looks to me as a 70-72 possibly a /6 by the wheels.. although someone swears there is bumper tits on the front i dont see them...

No tits, looks like a reflection off the road onto the bumper. Kinda looks like 6 steelies but its hard to tell in that fuzzy shot.

Got one right at the beginning of Mel Brooks' Silent Movie....about 30 seconds after the opening screen. Lemme see if I can get a shot of it here at work.....

In the movie Money Talks, right before they block off the bridge and blow up the bus to escape... those two Suburbans are the cars that block the traffic, though I think the 914 could have driven under them

They never ended up making a movie of it but... the novel "The Wind-Chill Factor" had a main character who drove a 914. His ex-wife still did mechanical work on it (if I recall correctly she adjusted the valves). Oh, and she was a mechanic-with benefits, as they still slept together too.

The book was also set in the Twin Cities, including a murder on the walking path around Lake Harriet.

I don't recall much about the plot, but I guess the home town, and 914 references factored in my wanting to read it.

I remember a movie a very long time ago with to girls in a 914 ! they said to the two boys in the hotrod if you can catch us you can have us....they ran out of gas during the chase.....LMAO....seems i remember it was around the same time as American graffiti

"Get Christie Love" at about one hour into the movie (1:01:00) there's a silver 914 (possible '73) driving by.

In "Sudden Impact" with Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry Callihan there is a 914 visible when he is driving across the Golden Gate bridge near the start of the movie.
