Eric's former job before his real one now.........

Living the dream. Looks like all went well. Sorry I couldn't be there. Maybe next time in my new retirement toy if it's near SL next time.

And then the band fired up! Rage Against the Supremes.

The front man was really good and very animated, a true performer!! Entertaining to say the least and I would love to see them again. Before long the floor was filled with ladies dancing and the party was on.

The band expanded to include a few "extras" Eric far left kept in the shadows.

Friday morning. Hard to believe a week ago today but as I said earlier phone camera issues prevented sooner posting.

Coffee and Donuts at PMB, drivers meeting, prep for mountain road drive to Guardsman Pass.

Gratuitous shot of my car in the foreground as we got ready to leave.....

Saw your foot. Unmistakable.
Thanks so much for posting these photos. Time passes slowly up here in the mountains, but really fast for me. So, it is nice to be able to look back at a runaway awesome tour in your pictures.
Lucky9146
The drive started with a gathering of the cars shortly after leaving PMB before heading up the mountain. This is the first of 2 stops.

Just before we left I met Dave.

He asked which car was mine and proceeded to go over and check it out. As some know I got this car as a project where the flares and paint had been done in 1995.

I acquired the car in 2013 with this awesome Imron paint. I have never really been a fan of the flag mirror choice but know it really can't be changed because paint could never be matched properly to the Imron.

To my surprise Dave commented on the mirrors right away saying that he really liked them on the car. My wife said the look on my facce was priceless. Thanks Dave for a new found liking for my mirrors smile.gif

I think those are the same ones on my new car. What is the story on those? Where were they used?

They came on the car when I bought it. I have always thought they were regular G Body 911 flag mirrors and therefor likely has the same door contour.

The person to best answer this question is Larry from PMB as he chose them for his car.

Pardon the stretched pic it is a crop of a wide shot.

brant
I believe…. But could be wrong. That the 944 mirrors were commonly used as they fit the contour better than the 911 version

It’s been years since I messed with them and I could have that wrong
