Cup O'Meat productions recently entered into the NYC 48hr film project and here is the outcome, a parody for the "foreign film" category (which was our assignment for the contest)!

In the end, 54 films were submitted in the contest (all completely done in 48 hrs) and we won audience award for our screening, Best acting ensemble, Best supporting actress (Alison Plotkin), Best cinematography and Runner-up Best in NYC for the 48 Hr Film Project.

Well, today was fun The boxes I used to pack up all the videos were priority boxes only, even though they were touted as CD/DVD boxes, they could not be shipped via media mail (much larger bill for me). Sooooo, the bad news is that I had to buy some padded envelopes ($150), had to remove all of the labels off of the old boxes, and had to remove the DVDs from the boxes to repack them. The great news is that I can now ship all of the orders this week (tomorrow or Sat).

Ken, I still have plenty left to ship and will ship all ordered this week, this week.

I don't mind a readjustment on price. I'm sure most people realize this is a learning experience. These will probably be a good addition to any 914 nut's library. This will fit right beside Ed's and George's book at my house.

Another good printing could be the anatomy of the 914 tub with pictures of a cut apart tub in all the little cavities and showing all the neat waterproofing foam. I know we've got exploded views from the suppliers but the finished product viewed before we start in a area would be neat I think. It would be a quicker reference that going back through all the good rebuild threads.

Edit: I'll just send you a pp tip.

Just got my dvd in the mail today (from Eric), just wanted to say that you guys did an awesome job with it!!

Definitely informative for those of us who don't know what the insides of our transmissions consist of. Thanks Eric for including my car in the making of this film.

Do you ever feel like the world is conspiring against you? I was up at 0430 yesterday for work, got home and finished re-packing (first sign) the DVDs by 2430 so that I could finally get them out. The PO here closes at 4pm (better than the 1230 time my old one used to close at. This meant I could catch up on some much needed sleep....or so I thought. I got the boxes loaded into the car (again) for the trip to the PO (again) and when I arrived learned that the PO is closed at noon today for holiday hours! I can't seem to get these damn things OUT! So, if they are open on Mon, I have a half day and will see about shipping them then.

Anyone who wants one in this shipment needs to pay by noon Sun. Anyone who paid up til now is already covered

OT: Is doctoring anything like the show Scrubs? And what doctor on the show do you identify with?

I think the Post Office is closed Monday, as it's the federal holiday observing Independence Day since the 4th is on a Sunday. So don't waste your valuable half day time and frustrate yourself visiting the closed office!

THEY SHIPPED! I can not believe that I actually got them shipped! The lady at the PO was so nice. It took her almost 1 hour to process them all and the receipt is about 15ft long Everyone who got their orders in before 8pm EST yesterday had theirs shipped First class mail.

Two of you got your orders in too late to ship today so they will have to wait until later this week or next week when I or my wife have time to ship them.

Bernie, I specifically DO NOT cover R/P adjustments and such as hardly anyone has the tools and it would have made an already jam-packed DVD even longer (like a third disk). If you want me to refund your paypal, let me know and I will. No hard feelings.

A little disappointed that Disk 2 had come loose from its spindle and was rattling around in the box but unlike some big-name DVD's for which I've paid way more, no damage is evident.

Mine came in today. I watched the first disk during dinner (wife and kids out of town, otherwise my idea of "entertainment" wouldn't fly). Will watch the second in a bit. And yes, its hard to not laugh out loud at some of the things Mike says. My favorite so far is the comment about the first time you make love to a woman.
