Thank you
And definitely!

I should be at fleetweek for the HMSA festival of speed on Coronado island. COTA for the national vintage championchip with SVRA in Austin. Hallet Oklahoma with CVAR. Plus events in Colorado and Nebraska yet this year with RMVR

I'm praying for the price of diesel to stay down

Hey Brant,
Have you had a chance to finish the duct work? Looking to know if you had an improvement with the trans cooler?

Shane,

I did run about 5-6 races with this new duct in the passenger side window
post #544 The silver hose goes onto the back of the duct at the rear window area.

it dropped my trans quite a bit.. another 10-15 degree's with the same trans/motor/cooler/etc.

now I'm building a new engine lid to allow the hose to pass through...

Spent last weekend doing winter maintenance and corner balancing with Dad. Just want the archive this here.

Wet with 4 gallons of fuel
(I forgot to switch the wheels or would have beat my weight goal with the Hoosiers)
jmitro
wow, that is super lightweight!

Today was a productive day
Picked this up and hoping to get some garage time soon

Mmmmm. Twin plug....

One more to document

With the motor fixed and these parts to fix my suspension
I should have enough to build it back

SVRA, COTA 10/19 has /is going to bring many hours of work
brant
Got the engine in. The suspension on. And just finished corner balance:

1825 lbs is pretty amazing.

Would love to get my car on a diet to shed 100 lbs

The main issue is that when I was younger I did that by dumping all NVH treatments, heat exchanger shells, etc., but now I'm older and want a quieter more cofortable car.

This thread has lots of great ideas in the post about light weighting - need to see what I can incorporate to my street car.

Unfortunately 2.4L six currently planned will be a net negative to weight and will need offsets.

Is it running yet? driving.gif wavey.gif

Runs and mostly broke in
I’m going to do a winter service. But after that looking forward to some covid free road trips.

Possibly Road America this year
