We started this morning at 9:00 to do my 5 lug conversion. With the help of Colin Greene and Forrest Haag, we got it all done. Tomorrow we do alignment and fine tuning/cleaning. The three of us worked literally all day on it.

I decided to leave Friday early to beat the frwy traffic and try and find a place to stay closeby.

I'm good with Dinner thursday night too. Just keep in mind my 16 year old son will be with me. So needs to be a place a minor can enter for us to come.

Also if anyone wants my room saturday night at the host hotel. We won't be staying there saturday. So let me know as I will change my reservation to just friday if nobody wants it

Brant, if you don't get one at RRC, I believe I have one in the shed that worked. I'd send it for free since I'm uncertain of its condition - probably can't send it to RRC in time though, since I won't be there. It didn't seem to work too well on the 2.0 bus motor that was in the car when I got it, but ... ehhh, what the hell, it might work!

I only have the suspension and wheels on so far, engine trans is next.

I'll check with the local shop. He is pretty reasonable and has that stuff laying around.

(We also made a side bet if Brant stays in Vegas for the weekend).

I have always been fascinated by its history, rise and fall and I think it could be a gold mine for pic ops. You car looks sharp


I got the back-sides of all four ATS wheels cleaned up and the Kumho tires mounted on the 'BB' this evening. I like the look of the taller aspect ratio (65 vs. 60) ... fills the wheel wells better. Nice smooth ride too

Tomorrow, I want to get the side rocker panels mounted and replace some mounting hardware that's missing on the right side of the front valance.

Elvira and I strongly recommend (and practice) that the longer, scenic back way is the best way.
(I am dragging the Vegas caravan via Kelso.)

The history is quite fascinating, but you will be vastly underwhelmed with the scenery.
