"Why can't I post pics?"

I followed the instructions found in the FAQ section under >The 914 Forums> First for resizing your pictures, then for posting them. Good luck! I want to see your Bimmer.

I had my 1600 in northern Illinois, from 1974 (bought for $1250 with ~80,000 miles) till sold about January 1980 with about 120,000 miles. Very fun car. Also had rust issues. Rear shock towers!

It has to be under 200 kb, or you could open a free photobucket account and host them there. Then copy the 'direct link' at photobucket, here you would click the icon above, on this window, that looks like a oak tree. A new small window will open, rght click to paste. That's it.

It's 500kb for the total size of the each individual post including all of the pictures included within it.

Link to the 914world FAQ forum thread: Adding Pictures to Your Post

You can also post without quoting someone else's post. wink.gif

The really low tech way to resize photos using ms windows is to right click on the
photo and select "send to" then select "Mail recipient". It will ask if you want to
make your photos smaller. Mail the photo to yourself. Then open your email
and save the attachment you get and your photo will by 75K or so. I do this
all the time when I am too lazy to use a photo editing program. You can select
multiple photos and mail them all to yourself in one email.

Now, lets see some more dang pictures!!! biggrin.gif

Nice car, I sold mine 2 years ago to a guy in Spokane. Same color and it had factory sport seats too. One of the best cars I've ever owned. Now I want to find a 91 200 20VTQ Avant! Have fun! Paul S.

Are they both 325is' ? My friend had one (87' Black e30 325is), and that thing was a joy to drive, heavy clutch, the electronics working when they wanted to, torque of the 2.5L and the stock LSD that made nice donuts. biggrin.gif

Truck bling... I bought this '03 Tundra new in October of '02 and had it for almost 6 years. I sold it last summer when gas prices went up to almost $5 and picked up an '03 Tacoma xtracab 4 banger 5 speed with a shell/rack (good truck also). I miss the Tundra VERY much, but I get almost double the mileage in the Tacoma. Sad sad.gif

I like driving this 100cc monster of pure terror, my little Honda XR100M mini Motard. This bike has the most amazing fuel ecomony and insurance rates and is a lot of fun, not very fast though but enough for city driving at least in here in Japan.
