Well I was a victom of our present economy. I lost my job as a parts manager at a Dodge dealer last spring and was out of work for several months. I finally was able to find a job at a Harley dealer dut I took over a 60k a year pay cut just pay the bills. To make a long story short this is what I had to sell to stay afloat while jobless.

drooley.gif a bunch of very nice cars you all have. I love that VW. One of our locals has one that has a nice 911 engine and suspension in there. When Walker goes by you always have to do a double take. It doesn't look like much but sure sounds purty.

I've got a 65 Riv, that has serious rust. When I get done with my 914-6 resto, I'm going to take the front end of the Riv and put it on an El Camino. Then I'll have an El Riviera tow vehicle.

Hi everybody,

I think this is my first post to this forum so please bear with me - I hope this works!! There are some VERY cool cars in this thread, so I'm excited to share!

Here's my latest addition to my collection, a 1974 Porsche 914 that I just purchased from a fellow member of the Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary last summer - I've had my eye on this car for a LONG time!

Cool another W114, here's mine:
A 1974 280C hopefully soon to have a 280E motor in it (once I find a rebuilder that can do the job rebuilding and putting EFI etc).
note: this is when I bought the car...so disregard the "for sale" sign

Is that a morris pickup in the back. Way cool!!! More pictures of the truck?

Yep - it's pretty neat. It runs like a top. My mother is really the only one that drives it (fits in it!). It looks fantastic with a Christmas tree in the back. I would love to stecil "UN" on the canvass, or paint a palm tree on the door. It was restored long ago, definitely a 10-20 footer now - but for some reason it's current condition seems to "fit" - if that makes sense.

here is the only other picture I have...

Just to clarify, while yes, all of those cars, plus one or two more are in the shop, we (my bother my Pop and I) do this little hobby together. 90%of all the cars are titled under an LLC. The healey, the TF and the Jag that is in process, were all done purely as investments. The GT 350 is now in a collection in China.

A short while back I sold my Meyers Manx and replaced it with an Audi TT ALMS. With recently buying a home and loosing a garage spot we’ve decided that either the Audi or my wife’s G35 coupe must go. The 914 still has the favored garage space. Here’s a link to an add for the Audi: http://forums.audiworld.com/tt-class/msgs/176.phtml
