I can't wait to see the caravan from the east to go north for the WWC in 06. Joe |
I can't wait, either! Hopefully she'll be on her feet and under her own power by then!
You're bringing Neverland, right? It's not going to be the same without Casadores!
JoeSharp
May 13 2005, 10:22 AM
Neverland has returned from Seattel in 19 hours she will be going with the caravan north. The Cazadores will be in the frezzer. Beer will be in the frig. I will be hauling tools and there will be extra seats.

Okay, I can not take it anymore...and it just began. Since no one is interested in my 911. Maybe I could sell Joe's bike (that he never rides) to finance my teener? Any offers?
LuckieO
May 14 2005, 07:44 PM
And that was when the bike was an $1800 bike. Now it has about $4000 in it...a precurser to the RS?

Will do Joe, been out at the cabin this past weekend so I didn't get the parts together - but will this week!

So, we basically got it down to the tub this weekend. I'm still working on removing the tar mat from the floor (oh joy) and I need to clean up the firewall... We're almost ready to paint! We had to stop a couple of times this weekend for thunderstorms, but they sure made a beautiful rainbow!

May 16 2005, 10:48 AM

What, me worry?

It's a 1980 that is almost the same color as the RS. I picked it up for $1600: '86 16V engine, late Bilstein coil-overs on all four corners and no rust. The PO was over his head electrically. I've redone all the wiring from the seats to the nose and now it will idle, but the RS has been very time consuming.
It's about to be on the front burner. More will follow.

Good progress today. Liz and I almost finished the floors and I got one fender stripped. We're not going to sand blast because the chassis just doesn't need to be fully stripped.
