and an additional one, only for Schuco Collectors Club members (unfortunately I'm not ...)

I'll keep an eye out for the 9-pack for you! It shouldn't be too hard to come by here in the next month. I already have 1 of the blue Matchbox, & 3 of the blue/orange hotwheels 914-6's; I've probably seen 20+ of the new hotwheels variant but wasn't sure if there was demand from the forum?

Also, I would be interested to see those 5 Schuco 914's... Happen to have a link to some photos?

I already have a loose blue Matchbox 914 "60th anniversary", and I too have the blue Hotwheels ...
but of course I would want the full gift-pack too

No worries, the next 9-pack with special 914 packaging I find undamaged is yours! Haven't seen anymore just yet though...

As far as the Schuco 1/43;I must have them all! Only that minor issue of each one costing nearly $50... That said I will still have to acquire them! Are any of those in the picture the 'members only' edition you mentioned?

unfortunately I'm not a member ... but I'm still hoping to find one on eBay

I was able to get one of these Schuco 914s just this week on Amazon (of all places) for $44 + s&h. The detail is excellent for a 1/43 scale model, Schuco even got the rear trunk latches correct.

Hopefully, either the Marathon or LeMans car can be found for a reasonable price.

there's a new 10-Pack with the metallic blue "60th anniversary" 914 on the market

I marked the differences to the 9-Pack

I don't know the details of these models. But i saw them a few years back at Pelican, someone was selling them.
From the look of it, its probably a 1:18. Very neat, as the weathering is done in a very realistic way.

If you know who made these, let me know; I'd like to get a set if its available. Enjoy the photos.

That is a great idea... keeps all the loose 914s in one place. Now I need to go buy one of those packs (saw 3 at the local Walmart).

Okay, I made it.

And it has two hot wheels in it.... Thought it would be a cool idea since I found a bunch of the 914 box sets out there.

The 914 world member BK911 said he had some. I would not want to step on their toes. As well Wal-Mart seems to have these. If all else fails I do have a few extras of the original Matchbox set.

I really like 'em. One stays in my collection, one is already at my bavarian friend and the 3rd will come to a collector friend from northern Germany
