Just giving you a bad time, nice teener... smile.gif

Any more pics of the interior?

It is water cooled! It's a small block chevy, 331 cubic inches some where over 300hp and the gear box is stock other than a gear swap for some wider ratios. I built this car 23 years ago and have been driving it hard ever since.
I put it together when we lived in the mountains in Colorado, the front suspension brakes and sway bar are 911SC and the rear has the heavy springs and Bilsteen racing shocks.
It's awesome....

I love the phone dials. Are those the 16s?

My former cars. The red car is at Road Atlanta, debut after a year off the road for a remodel into a full track car. The yellow one is the mythical turbo which can't be built, but was. That's me on the left, Sammy on the right, and a couple friends.

Hey Mark, good to see you back on 914 web pages. The yellow turbo looks as good as the hooters, well almost. I do stretch it sometimes. Will keep quiet about that other person but if he knows birds like those, I want him for a new best friend.
I still have photos I snagged of your turbo when you unloaded it from the big truck and 1st parked in your garage. It's right up there with Dr. Porsche's 8, Ed V's, John D's, Jon L's, PK's and a few others I better keep secret if anyone else is reading this.

Welcome home, this is a great 914 roost.

DANG!!! Talk about weight reduction. ohmy.gif I've heard of taking out the passenger seat... but running no seats at all!!!! Wasn't ever too fond of the air chair myself. av-943.gif

Looked through all 134 pages and noticed that mine has never been posted.
Some of you will recognize it as Chris, effutuo101's, old car.
I bought it back in September and have had a blast with it. driving.gif
It's currently garaged for the winter and when temps actually come up to above the "highs" of 20 degrees I'll be getting out into the garage to start some work on her.
Also, credit for all of the modifications so far goes to Chris. This is how I bought her. pray.gif

Please forgive the night time cell phone pics. I'll post a couple better ones when the weather clears. dry.gif

Thank you your Lordship. As usual she photographs better than she actually looks. Lots of work ahead but well worth it. Hard to live up to my 74 though, no matter what engine is in it. 47k miles & garaged her whole life. What spacers do you recommend? Also, what size tyres? (7 x 15 front fuchs/8 x 15 rear fuchs)

I know it says 914's only... But mine is a VW Baja Bug with a 914 lump... So I know it doesn't really count, but since you boys have offered a load of advice, I'm gonna put a pic on here anyway and put a link to my re-build thread I have going!

Enjoy (or not)...

I thought about orange I even bought the paint, but I wanted a color that there wasn't quite as many of (I have a few friends with orange cars) but wanted a era correct color, hence Kelly Green When I saw this car, I knew I made the right choice rocking nana.gif

agree.gif , completely. I don't know how authentic you want to be but I must say I like the green, non vinyl covered sail panels on yours over the GT. smilie_pokal.gif cool_shades.gif
