New to this forum, 1st post so take it easy on me. This is my 914 and I'm here to learn how to take care of it on a daily basis, how to maintain it, and what needs to proactively be upgraded.

Any suggestions or recommendations of resources to read would be appreciated!

2.0? welcome.png

It started life as a 1.7 but is now an injected 2.0. I am looking forward to many happy miles with this car. My sister had one when I was much younger and always had a blast in it.

There are a few members in the greater Phoenix area, as well as some outlying areas, Flagstaff, Prescott/Chino Valley, Sedona, Show Low and Tucson. I have a place up in Payson, but no cars there at the moment dry.gif

I realize this won't help right now, but there will be an annual 'Route 66 Run' coming up, typically happens around March every year. The event usually vacillates between AZ and CA ... might be a CA event in 2017 confused24.gif

I'm sure some of the locals will be chiming in shortly ... type.gif

First time off the jackstands in 5 years. Not so sure about my choice in wheel color, I have a matching positive side stripe, but I'll need to get the rear fenders fixed and painted first.

I like the green especially if you have some complimentary color stripes going on! What Fuchs are those? 16x7's all around? Do you know the width and offsets? They fill out perfectly.

They are 16x7 911 offset all around (23.3 offset), 205x55x16 tires. The rears wont fit without doing some messing around with the fenders.

That green would also look very nice on brake calipers, especially with black rims.
