The front corners just under the turn signals look sharper? Yes?

Molded in bumpers tend to do that ...

Figured I would go ahead and add my car on here finally. I've had her for about 3 months now and LOVE her dearly. I have done very little work to her so far, because driving is so much fun. In the very near future, new tires, brakes bled, tune up, and some more body sanding.
But currently, here is my baby.

Saw this '75 for sale today in Oceanside, CA, for $1800. Appears to be a straight, but rough, original 1.8 California car. Odometer reads "86463". I have the contact phone number, if anyone is interested.

I have no interest in or affiliation with this car.

Added VIN and picture to database.

A picture of a picture of my first '72 914, circa 1990. As my wife would say, if you want to see what happened to the car, just take a gander at her ring finger! Ohhh, the sacrifices we sometimes have to make! biggrin.gif

The engine was bumped up to 1910cc with twin webers, a mild cam and Bursch exhaust. It made for a quick combo!

Had to add this photo of my old Corrado G60. Was supposed to be a 944 beater. If that's the case, 944's were pretty darn slow!

That looks like a really nice, original, unmolested '70/4. Does it have a build date and VIN so you (or I) can add your car to our 914 database? Also is that original paint, or a repaint to original color?

Nice to see an OEM 914 clap56.gif

Cool! Looks like you're making progress. Is that carpet in the trunk or some kind of bedliner coating?

I trimmed it out with the perlon felt (front & back trunks)... like it was done on the 916's... just to make it a little more "plush"

What did you do to pull the fenders out, my rear fenders almost rub with 15" 5.5 4 lug--- don't think those would fit in mine but would love to try them.

a good smooth way to do it also is set the car down lightly with a wood baseball bat between wheel and wheel well lip, roll the car back and forth until you get what you need. made the tuck on mine factory smooth

here is mine with my moms. she came down to visit. right now mine is up in ohio being worked on. 5 lug conversion with fuchs, dual weber 40s, interior and exterior upgrades to nicer trim and lights etc. my mom and dad restored theres about 5 years ago. she has had 3 914s through her life. somehow she was able to get them all back (long story) and decided to restore the best one using the other 2 for parts. hers is a 74 with a 1.8 and mine is a 76 with a 2.0.
