i pulled the plugs, and they all look good. nothing toasted [hi toast! ]

pulled the valve covers and checked lash....... uhoh!!! >.040 on #2 ex and others on 1/2 side are pretty lose too, checked 3/4 side and not bad.

to tight in there to tell if i have a hyd cam or not.

so it's definately coming out.

Dag-nabbit! I'll swing by sometime soon and grab it. Speaking of, here's a shot of the squareback in front of your place. Michelle and I went and got it aligned. Really glad I did, they spent about 70 minutes on it! Got everything perfect though, and for $60, sweet!

Here's a shot of the guilty 914. I will say I impressed myself with my most excellent windshield removal skills. Not one chip or crack! That's good glass, it's not old, maybe a couple of years. No delam at all.

No wondering why this one is getting chopped up.

I was bummed I missed the final minutes of this 914, but at the end of the day, I got to remove the windshield and get my Monster worked on, so all is well.

Which SUCKS today because yes, the weather is great!

About halfway to work it occurred to me I could (should) have driven the 914 today... Not often I get to drive it this time of year.

Drove the 74 to work the last two days!

Took it for a quick drive today. I need to get some new tires so I can take it for a real drive.
