Well than. I propose that while you wait for your parts; you put a thread together of this build so we can all see your awesome handi work.
I'm with James on this. There are a few clues here and there that you have an interesting build going. Let's see it Chris!

Hmmm let me talk with Robert. This motor is a Japanese spec 2.5 sequential twin turbo. Robert can find out if the 2.2 stuff will work.

2.5 twin sequential? Sweet. You got to do some show and tell!! That thing is going to be lightning fast. I have a ton of different intercoolers if your looking to test fit for size= volvo, saab, audi,vw,toyota, ect
I seen a 74ish bug with a subi intercooler for the engine lid last sunday rolling up 41st. It looked like 8's in the back and he wasnt much on boost before they let loose.

My solution is to drive a clapped-out 1.8L. . . Very difficult to loose control but not nearly as fun either
I gotta change that. . .

Don't forget about FATT over here on the east side. Cheapest decent instruction you'll ever get and SCR is a blast!
Watch out for turn 1, it wants to eat you. Really, you can see the blowout path from frigging space.

Who plans to go to the "All Porsche Car Show" at Triple XXX on April 29th? I just put the engine back in, the car should be ready by then (I hope). Last two years we met at the Mac Donald off I405 Exit 7 at around 9:14 AM.

If I can get my car to Redmond European for a safety check and alignment by then I will take my car. Otherwise, I am going minus 914.

I have the engine out and have everything out in the open so now is a good time to do it.
Anyone? Bueller?

What have u determined Jon are unneeded circuits thus far?..
PeeGreen 914
May 16 2012, 04:48 PM
Well, I don't need reverse lights, anything heater related, and other stuff... I see a lot of wires and only need the ones that go to the tails lights, turn signals, and engine stuff...
Ductech
May 16 2012, 05:10 PM
Well I think that you would save more weight pulling out the fresh air box all the heater blower equip in the back and all the plumbing bits for the heat. If you get rid of the wiring for the items your talking about you'd be looking at maybe two pounds savings. At most.. And needless to say you may wanna use some of those wires later down the road. Not to sound all negative... What does the car have left as far as oem heavy equipment?
PeeGreen 914
May 16 2012, 05:29 PM

May 16 2012, 05:36 PM
Oh good..I wish I had a wind tunnel... Delete the grating for the cold airbox also... Should reduce overall drag by a very minute amount. I'd never get anything officially done with a wind tunnel.. I'd just spend all day playing with bodywork and wings and so forth... I think your best bet would be to pull up the pelican site and print out the electrical flow diagrams they have for your year and print them out and start crossing off what you want to delete. Then bring it over to my place off 164th and we go over what you can get rid of from the diagram
Ductech
May 16 2012, 09:18 PM
Alright I admit that I've been reading the Porsche bible too much.... I've been thinking in drag coefficients and frontal areas
