is that 8”s on the rear? i have 7’s with 205/55-16” and even with the rear fenders worked and stretched and lips rolled , i am probably out a full 1” more than stock, i don’t think i could get 8’s in there and the inside is tight so even if the 8’s have the back space i would expect it wouldn’t fit so i’m wondering what wheels are you running and how much work was done to get the 8’s to fit?

We took Elwood to Cars and Coffee yesterday morning. Spent some time after that with some friends BSing in the garage, then
@scottthephotog came over. We put his car up on the lift, and replaced the shift linkage bushings and put new front and rear brake pads in it.
These are the rear pads we took out...

@anderssjBen, PM sent.
Just in case anyone else is in PCA's First Settlers Region (FSR) and wasn't aware, the Fun Run is set for morning of April 17th, with a possible repeat in afternoon of April 18th. Total route is about 70 miles long, running mostly back roads from Windsor to Smithfield VA.
Events are usually announced in the FSR magazine and on the FSR facebook page (https://fsrpca.motorsportreg.com). Registration is via motorsportreg.com.
It looks like the vintage group is still open for the 17th, but it's maxed out for newer cars. As I said, there may be a re-do on 18th PM.
Hope this helps!

I'm running 16X7s on the car with 205/55-16 Continentals. The fender lips have been rolled and stretched as far as I dare. The driver's side is very tight and will scuff the sidewall with aggressive driving.

The weather was so nice my brother and I took a nice ride up to see
@Tygaboy and his new MBZ project. He also took me for a ride in his 914.....Holy Moly that car is quick.
We had a nice time talking for about an hour or more and then it was time to hit the road.
That was my brother's first real ride in my car since his major back surgery 9 weeks ago. He seemed to tolerate it well. Yes, he rode in it for a couple short trips in the past few days, but this was about 70 miles each way.

busy week, finished the install of the new defrost fan, ran wiring for the motorized washer pump(a OEM NOS 911 part).
in 12 years i’ve never had a washer system operational, or the defrost fan!
